The Assistant Banquet Operations Manager provides full support to the Banquet Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Banquet Services and day-to-day operations of the Banquet Department in accordance to established Standard of Operating Procedures.
Our Expectations:
- Plan duty roster, engage part-timers/casuals and ensure effective and optimal deployment.
- Ensure all Associates (full-time, part-time and casuals) are well groomed and trained according to established standards.
- Conduct on-job-training and refresher to ensure standards are maintained at all times.
- Ensure that function rooms are fully set-up according to the event order.
- Ensure that all guests’ complaints are attended to promptly and report any guests’ complaints/feedback to the Banquet Operations Manager. Recommend to these guests’ complaints.
- Coordinate with Chef, Stewarding and AV Technician on menus, function set-up arrangement, service procedure and clearing of all equipment after functions.
- Work closely with the Catering Sales Team to achieve monthly sales budget, capital expenditure, and operating budgets.
- Ensure that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Report any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
