Accounts Executive / Junior Accountant ($3,000 - $4,500)

Job duties and responsibilities:

· Responsible for a full set of accounts

· Prepare, examine and analyse financial statements, accounting records, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards

· Prepare sales invoices for customers

· Record and prepare payment of supplier invoices

· Bank reconciliation

· Management of cash flow - weekly

· Maintenance of the general ledger, including posting of journals, maintenance of prepayments, accruals, COS and deferred income schedules. Resolution of any issues to ensure records remain accurate

· Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation

· Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns

· Preparation and submission of government statistical surveys/ reports

· Involve in monthly stock-take exercise

· Liaise with banks, insurance, auditors and tax agents

· Resolve accounting discrepancies and keep accurate and updated accounting records

· Resolve customers’ payment discrepancies and billing disputes/queries

· Processing payroll for employees

· Monthly CPF submission

· Maintaining accurate payroll records and filing payroll tax returns

· Managing time and attendance records

· Preparation and issuance of Appointment Letters

· Posting of job advertisements when needed

· Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation and issuance.

· Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims, e.g. CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21) matters etc.

· Document filing

· Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Job requirement:

· Degree in Accounting, ACCA Level 3 or Diploma with strong relevant experience.

· At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.

· Experience with Xero accounting & Info Tech software will be a plus.

· Prior experience in overseeing Human Resource functions will be an added advantage.

· Good knowledge of accounting regulatory compliance.

· Preferably with strong advanced Microsoft Excel, analytical and meticulous with an eye for details.

· Performance-oriented, self-motivated personality with good interpersonal and communication skills.
