POSITION OVERVIEW:
To oversee overall finance function for APAC region. To work as a business finance controller and to provide financial analysis, implementing financial system, policies & controls, budgeting, MIS presentation to senior management, financial evaluation of business proposals/model, expense monitoring and controls, implementation of business finance strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Job Role):
- Analysis of countries and regions profitability statement, cash flow, rolling cash flow, product wise GC to identify deviation from budget and highlight the same to business head and management
- Drafting and finalization of financial policies in subsidiaries, in line of global finance policies, by coordinating with finance controllers.
- Responsible for ensuring the implementation of financial system and control in subsidiaries
- Consolidation of regional sales flash, rolling cash flow forecast, P&L forecast and MIS reports.
- Compiling and analyze the ad-hoc reports (e.g. distributor margin analysis, competitor price analysis, analysis of expansion/entry/exit proposal of countries etc.) based on time to time requirement of business
- Preparation and review of IFRS for subsidiaries for consolidation and also handling the statutory audit requirements.
- Coordinating with subsidiaries for annual audit and review of audit reports and finalization thereof. Tax Audit for Malaysia & Philippines.
- Development of framework for long term strategic planning and budgeting.
- System Improvements - SAP Implementation Project. Team development & engagement.
- Responsible for banking and treasury activities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications, Experience and attitude):
Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Finance with additional professional degree - Chartered Certified Accountants / Certified Financial Analyst
Experience:
Fifteen plus years of experience in financial management with minimum seven years’ experience in similar set up (pharmaceutical financial management) and role (Lead – Financial manager/controller for APAC region)

- Ability to inspire large teams and channelize their collective energy to meet organizational goals
