Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of operations, driving process improvements, managing incidents and risks, coordinating resource allocation, and developing the skills of our technical teams. Additionally, the Operations Manager will be a key point of contact for client communications, ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Review: Regularly evaluate and review operational processes to ensure they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with company goals. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Process Improvements: Develop, implement, and monitor process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery across multiple business units. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows.
  • Incident and Risk Management: Proactively manage and resolve operational incidents. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the business.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with the technical department to effectively allocate resources based on project requirements, priorities, and skill sets. Ensure that resources are utilized optimally across all projects.
  • Skill Development Coordination: Collaborate with the technical department to identify skill gaps within the team. Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Client Communications: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. Address client concerns, manage expectations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency, project delivery timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a high level of quality assurance across all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the cybersecurity, IT, or professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity services, system integration, and project management principles.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change effectively.
  • Excellent incident and risk management skills, with the ability to respond quickly and decisively to operational challenges.
  • Experience in resource allocation, with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, technical teams, and senior management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) or operations management.
  • Experience in managing cybersecurity operations or technical teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
