Position: M&E Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
- Review tender drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work upon receiving invitations from main contractors, consultants, or clients.
- Interpret and understand design brief requirements.
- Source suppliers and request quotations.
- Estimate, take off bill quantities, and measure ACMV, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical services from tender drawings for data centres, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Conduct price comparisons and prepare costing summaries.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
- Prepare all relevant administration and documentation for tender submission, including technical data, schedules of unit rates, and catalogue submissions.
- Manage resources and coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Address client inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with project engineers to ensure contract compliance and monitor project costs.
- Conduct cost analysis, contract administration, and prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, project budgets, cost control measures, and settlement of final accounts.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognized university.
- 3-5 years of postgraduate experience in design, supervision, project management, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for electrical disciplines.
- Preferably with experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication and written skills in English.
