Job Description
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee regular accounting and reporting processes, including month-end and year-end reporting, monthly financial and cash-flow forecasting, and annual budgeting.
- Handle tax reporting and filing.
- Manage risk, including insurance matters in collaboration with HQ, and handle claims in coordination with the insurance company.
- Ensure adequate financing to support operations and investments, working closely with HQ and local financial institutions (e.g., banks).
- Execute monthly and annual financial closing procedures (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow), coordinating with local authorities and external auditors.
- Enhance finance transaction processes (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable) to improve productivity and control.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance department.
- Manage the Finance Team, including setting team and individual goals, implementing employee development plans, and providing coaching.
- Serve as a Finance Business Partner to the Managing Director.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with tax, customs, and transfer pricing issues related to cross-border transactions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, including their financial implications.
- Proficient in ERP systems; familiarity with Navision and SAP is advantageous.
- Experience in managing a small team of at least 4 staff.
- Knowledgeable in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
