Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our Auxiliary Services team, focusing on the management of transport services, including campus shuttle bus operations, parking facilities, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee governance and administration of contracts with vendors for bus, parking, and EV charging services.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key University stakeholders and relevant government authorities.
- Develop and monitor the transport budget, generate reports, and track financial performance.
- Supervise and assess services provided by vendors to ensure adherence to contract terms and service standards.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by seeking and implementing service improvements.
- Execute campus mobility plans and collaborate with other service providers to explore new transport solutions.
- Represent the Office of Campus Auxiliary Services (OCAS) in cross-departmental working groups to conduct feasibility studies, identify service gaps, and devise solutions.
- Collaborate on the technology roadmap to integrate efficient and eco-friendly transport solutions.
- Manage staff and external service providers to deliver high-quality frontline services and project support.
- Benchmark departmental practices against industry standards, offer insights into market developments, and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Serve as the OCAS Safety Liaison Representative on the Health & Safety Committee.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field. Candidates with a diploma and extensive experience in transportation management may also be considered.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in administration, procurement, contract management, financial transactions, and operations management, preferably in the transport sector or within an academic institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
