Project Manager (Interior Design)

Interior Design:

  • Conceptualize and develop interior design plans, creative space planning and space solutions
  • Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design feasibility and compliance with local building codes.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technology to continuously innovate and improve the living spaces

Project Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of design plans.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure design solutions align with business objectives and tenant needs.
  • Lead and mentor junior designers or interns, providing guidance and feedback to support their professional development.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all design and project management activities meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and gather client feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design and project management, preferably in residential or co-living spaces.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.

Work Environment:

  • This role may require travel to various project sites and client meetings.
