Job Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement the SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules according to business requirements.
- Customize the SAP FICO modules to match the specific financial processes of the organization.
- Set up and configure General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and other related components.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to financial processes.
- Map business processes to SAP FICO functionalities and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct gap analysis and design solutions to bridge the gaps between the business requirements and SAP capabilities.
- Manage the migration of financial data from legacy systems to SAP.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO modules with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external systems.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity during the migration and integration processes.
- Develop and execute test plans for SAP FICO configurations and customizations.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify and resolve issues, ensuring that the SAP FICO solution meets business and technical requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications can be advantageous.
- Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with a strong understanding of SAP FI and CO modules.
- Experience in implementing SAP FICO in full-cycle projects, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
- Familiarity with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and how they integrate with FICO.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI components such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Strong understanding of SAP CO components, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
- Proficiency in data migration tools and techniques, as well as integration with other systems.
- Ability to develop custom reports and use reporting tools within SAP (e.g., SAP Query, Report Painter, SAP BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and data management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
