1) Food Preparation
· Prepare a monthly menu and submit the menu one month in advance to your Supervisor for approval
· Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes
· Ensure meals are served warm for lunch and dinner
2) Kitchen Inventory
· Proper organization of ingredients and raw materials
· Ensure freshness of ingredients
· Monitor the food par level after each meal period
· Responsible for inventory counts and record food wastages
· Assist in purchasing and receiving of ingredients and food items
3) Cleanliness
· Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and canteen
· Ensure that food preparation area is always clean
· Ensure that kitchen is tidy and organized
· Ensure proper hygiene practices are always followed
· Ensure proper storage methods are followed
4) Professionalism
· Possess valid Basic Food Hygiene certification
· Treat all staff and residents equally with equal distribution of food
