Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:
Senior Finance Analyst
Strong and motivated AVP / VP to support current reporting and Finance processes, supporting the Technology Function.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Performance Management, you will proactively:
- Partnering with Technology Units in areas of performance management and driving deeper insights through data and well thought out analysis.
- Driver transparency and support MIS and financial reporting, especially on the area of computerisation expense spending, to ensure consistency across locations and with Group.
- Cost allocation: good understanding of Technology and Operations allocations and associated data, and how they are represented to Business Units, Segments and Products.
- Intercompany recharges: ensure appropriate governance and reconciliation of resource recharges to each Technology functions from our development centers.
- Periodic fixed assets review: ensure appropriate governance on Fixed assets annual review, to ensure accurate financials for year end reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 8+ years of relevant experience, Ideal candidate should be CA/CPA/ACCA qualified
- Strong ability to work with big datasets, granular data flows/processes.
- Good grasp of banking operations structure, with good understanding / prior experience in financial planning & analysis preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong ability to work in ambiguous situations and quickly adapts to changes in priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work independently with minimal supervision; set priorities and manage own time / work-life balance to meet deadlines
