As an internal IT auditor you share responsibility for setting up and implementing the internal audit plan with a focus on IT audits. The main tasks and responsibilities of the Internal IT auditor are:
· IT controls and audits, with specific attention to ‘Cyber Security’, ‘Data Privacy’ and 'Segregation of Duties', with the aim of assessing the reliability of data processing and IT environment as well as the effectiveness of the General IT Controls, IT Application Controls, and IT Reports.
· Operational audits with the aim of improving the (primary) business processes and internal controls. Within the Operational Audits the main focus will be on the audit of ESG data with the aim of assessing the reliability of the sustainability information for internal and external reporting including CSRD compliance.
· Identify (IT related) risk areas with regards to compliance, business processes and internal controls (Risk Management).
· Develop and implement improvement proposals with regards to business processes and internal controls to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
· Compliance audits to assess whether the organization complies with internal and external regulations.
· Contribute to the quality improvement of Internal Audit and Control including the training of colleagues.
· Support the quarterly financial audits with the aim of assessing the reliability of the financial information for the press release.
· Other (ad hoc) activities for Finance stakeholders.
Pre-Requisites:
· Master’s degree in IT Auditing;
· Minimal 5 years of experience in IT audit and assurance within a big four audit firm;
· Experience with tech companies including the semiconductor industry;
· Experience with SAP;
· Experience with Quality Assurance (e.g. in system implementation and data migrations);
· Experience and/or affinity with ESG;
· Experience with audit quality management and training of colleagues;
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· Strong knowledge of the English language;
· Ability to work/build relationships in both European and Asian business cultures;
· Hands-on, pragmatic, flexible, accurate;
· Up to date knowledge of Risk Management and (Internal) Audit standards;
· Experience with NIS2 directive is a prerequisite.
