Marketing Director

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing defined tactical marketing plans which enable achievement of strategic priorities, pipeline targets, and revenue targets. You are experience in tactical marketing. You need to be extremely data-driven, are well-versed in Marketing technology tools, and have a proven track record of using data to define growth strategies.

You are required to:

  • Be performance centric defining how to allocate resources, what to pivot in the strategy and advise the best method to execute.
  • Responsible for marketing metrics and spend across the business and managing the Team’s expectations around targets, initiatives, and impact.
  • Own the relationships with company’s agency partners ensuring deadlines and targets are met.
  • Listen and respond to the voice of customer. Leverage data to build a brand and product messaging across owned and paid channels that resonates and excites prospects and customers alike.
  • Be a leader with a track record of setting a strong vision for growth and marketing and implementing marketing initiatives that contributed significantly to growth.
  • Understand how to grow the voice of a business and promote to a globally recognised brand.
  • A deep understanding of performance marketing.
  • Experience at a start-up or product in a high growth phase.
  • Know your way around a CMS, google analytics and their relevant metrics.
  • Making data-driven decisions, know how to interpret the data to tell a customer story.

You will:

  • Partner with the events marketing team to develop a unique events strategy, including hosted and sponsored events, tailored to the APAC region and tied to growth goals of sales team.
  • Collaborate with Brand & PR team to drive brand awareness by creating cohesive event campaigns and mixing sponsorship, speaking, and pre-event activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create globally integrated campaigns. This includes creating paid search campaigns, social media, content syndication, events, and email campaigns.
  • Manage and control over sales expenses and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or related field with at least 10 years of related experiences.
  • Prior experience within a digital marketing agency and particularly for EU markets.
  • Prior experience with growing, leading and managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing: SEM, SEO, Social, Ecommerce, CRO and PPC.
  • Exposure to managing budgets and projects.
  • Capable of setting the pace and generating culture across the business.
  • Top notch communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent oral and written English. Candidates fluent in Mandarin will be an added advantage due to the business nature needed.
