About our client: Our client is an EPC contractor in the Offshore Oil&Gas industry.
About the role:
- Responsible for studying the project requirements, and specifications and following document submissions such as Method statements as required
- Attend periodical meetings with clients to discuss the engineering clarification and engineering status: Technical Query (TQR) Piping Insulation Document & Drawing Status (isometric drawings, P&ID’s, Piping GA’s, etc.) FIM & DM supply piping material status Engineering Clarification / Proposal
- Responsible for the master material take-off (MTO), procurement of insulation materials, and expediting materials to be delivered on time
- In charge of the master status of Engineering, Procurement, and construction status
- Coordinate with fabricator and project team for the execution of insulation work
- Prepare necessary document for additional claim/instruction to sub-contractor (JCS/JCR/Site Instruction/Timesheet “A” and “AA”).
- Follow instructions and advice from Piping HOD & Engineering Manager for resolving the engineering matters
- Study and understand project spec, scope of work, and scope of supply
- Ensure that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures, to ensure optimum efficiency, and work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements
- Establish the sequence of priority system for piping completion with related sections, ensure work and materials are planned to follow the same sequence
- Supervise fabrication and installation of piping items as per drawings and client's specifications
- Organize and control shop fabrication activities
About you:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works
- Highly motivated individuals with good organizational skills and leadership skills
- Able to adapt to new work environments and able to lead independently
- Active and positive-minded
- Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel)

- Work location: West (company transport is provided in selected MRT stations)
- Working days: 5.5 days
