Job Responsibilities:
- Supports SAG business needs and executes SAG strategy at the cluster/local level. Closely work with Category Team for effective implementation of Strategies to drive savings projects. Execute negotiation strategy and actively lead the local contract negotiations within the area of responsibility and based on criticality or complexity. With approval authority as assigned, with responsibility to guide and coach others across different countries in the cluster.
- Serves as first point of contact for suppliers related to category of spend. Assist relationships development with suppliers to support business needs and the overall Global Procurement supplier segmentation strategy. Develop new suppliers and drive low cost sourcing to ensure the targeted savings.
- Responsible for feedback and process improvement for all e-sourcing activities. Also accountable for compliance management. Active role in efficiency and effecitive improvement opportunities identification with process/tools/systems. Assist stakeholder training on procurement policy and process.
- Supports business and ensures appropriate and effective communication occurring at all organizational levels with consistent follow up and messaging. Assist change management and works to resolve and overcome barriers collaboratively with business partners.
- Accountable for meeting aspirational training goals for 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process and Enhanced Sourcing Tools, and active application to drive value.Seek out new opportunities for application of 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process, Enhanced Sourcing Tools, Procurement related Focused Improvements Projects to drive savings opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or a related Operational function required. Previous strategic sourcing experience required. Experience in a related industry preferred.
- Indirect procurement experiences and category exposure to Corporate environment spend areas such as Distribution and Logistics, IT, Professional Services, Marketing & Communications, Travel & Expenses.
- Core procurement processes and strategic sourcing concepts; Fundamental knowledge of business processes.
- Organization skills, proficient negotiation abilities, team-player, strong communication skills in English, self-motivating.
- Skills desired: Strong financial/statistical analysis, MNC working experience, project management. ASEAN local language as a plus.
