Responsibilities:
This role provides an excellent opportunity to build an extensive network across operations; requiring interaction with front office, support operations and technology.
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include participating in and/or ownership of the following functions:
• Work with Legal, Compliance, Senior Business Sponsors and Technology teams to derive regulatory and business requirements and produce detailed technical requirements.
• Work with internal parties including Business Sponsors, Legal & Compliance, Operations and Technology.
• Represent BofA on relevant industry forums where necessary.
• Identifying and managing project risks and issues
• Maintain and publish project documentation
• Running working groups as required
• Assisting with the implementation of large market mandatory and regulatory projects
• Documentation of business scenarios and review with business stakeholders
• Input into acceptance testing scenarios in line with testing strategy where applicable
• Participating in the continuous improvement of processes and quality standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Communicating, influencing and negotiating to obtain or leverage necessary resources
• Integrating knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decision making
• Encouraging the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of work stream and program risks
• Performing reviews of work streams and supporting technology activities
Requirements:
Presentable, confident and client focused. Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner
∙ Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience
∙ Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
∙ Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
∙ Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
∙ Previous experience within a client service team with particular focus on DMA and OTC settlement
∙ Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding
