Job Responsibilities and Duties
1. Handle full set of accounts, including preparation of monthly financials and statistics to the Board.
2. Prepare the yearly budget and monitor actual expenditure against budget.
3. Prepare and submit GST returns.
4. Review and ensure compliance with Finance policies and procedures.
5. Ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance guidelines as stipulated by the regulatory bodies such as the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Commissioner of Charities, and National Council of Social Service, etc.
6. Liaise with external and internal auditors, corporate secretarial agent, and fund management company.
7. Support Sub-committees and Board meetings, including presentation and writing of minutes.
8. Participate in ad-hoc projects.
9. Adhere to Company’s policies (including PDPA and staff-related) and procedures diligently, carry out duties in accordance with the specified service level and in good governance, observe client’s information confidentiality, and conduct oneself professionally when interacting with internal and external parties.
10. Any other jobs and duties as and when assigned.
Job Pre-Requisites
- A diploma or degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications
- Min 5 years of accounting experience for degree holder
- Min 10 years of accounting experience for diploma holder
- Experience in accounting for fund investments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Navision is an advantage.
- Passion to serve in the Social Service Sector
- Independent, meticulous and responsible
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
