Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse requirements, ensuring MDM functional specifications align with the MDM tool's capabilities.
- Create and implement interfaces between MDM systems and other applications, including APIs, ETL processes, and database views. Design, develop, and test MDM systems with a focus on data modeling, quality rules, error handling, workflows, and customisation.
- Work with the infrastructure team and MDM tool specialists to set up, operate, and maintain the MDM tool, including handling patches and version upgrades. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders throughout the MDM system's lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test cases, and operational manuals. Plan and conduct technical tests such as unit, system, performance, and penetration tests, and support user acceptance testing.
- Monitor and optimise the performance, scalability, and responsiveness of MDM systems. Ensure systems comply with governance requirements and contribute to the development of MDM guidelines and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
Job Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX, including customisation using JAVA EE.
- Proficient in MDM system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, with strong abilities in MSSQL, data modeling, quality rules, and data interface skills.
- Expertise in data profiling, quality issue resolution, and handling inbound/outbound data interfaces for real-time and batch processing using APIs, ETL, and DB Views.
