The challenge is to:
- The role will carry out independent oversight and continuous monitoring of Group Tech’s compliance with the enterprise’s policies and standards.
- Maintain deliverables and participate in department preparation and review efforts
- Coordinate and facilitate all IT audits and compliance projects, acting as an intermediary between internal and external auditors, and the Tech department/organization
- Implement security controls and programs to ensure compliance with the enterprise’s business goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact to IT inquiries from internal and external auditors, regulators, and clients to maximize system efficiency.
- Support preparation of audit reports detailing recommendations to strengthen and improve the control environment
- Interact with various Business and IT groups, to review, assess and monitor compliance with various programs
- Drive and support successful delivery of Group Tech external audit and act as primary champion assisting managers in their objectives to obtain quality completion of IT external audit preparation tasks and deliverables. Partner with external IT Auditor to design and prepare audit programs and test plans to determine adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance
- Manage internal audits by coordinating tenders and collaborating with auditors to ensure the appropriate and timely implementation of industry standards. Partner with internal Auditor to plan and manage the internal IT audit. Drive planning and execution activities to develop audit scopes and deliver the results
- Supervise and review department tests prepared by department IT audit leads
- Identify value-added recommendations and aligning with management on corrective actions to address identified risks. Work with PMO to design the process to internalize governance and compliance practice in daily operations
- Design and implement proactive approaches for audit to drive a compliance-focused culture
- Assist in identifying and reporting on risk and compliance issues on a regular basis
- Provide governance, risk, and compliance data insights to drive improvement across the Tech system
- Plan the implementation of processes and procedures for the identification and assessment of risk in the organization's information system
- Manage risks relating to information technology and cyber-security
- Conducting employee training on security policies so that everyone understands their responsibilities
Do you have experience in Tech Risk & Compliance?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or related field
- 8 years experience in tech governance, compliance, risk management, or related field
- CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certification will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of governance and compliance frameworks. Knowing HK PDPO, SG PDPA, ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc will be an advantage
- Experience developing and implementing compliance programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Experience in retail / ecommerce industry will be an advantage
