Job Responsibilities:
- Involvement in all elements of the FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, and Construction process of mechanical equipment and packaged equipment and systems.
- Responsible for interfacing with our clients and sub-contractors about technical and engineering aspects of the work.
- Responsible for the preparation of Mechanical equipment deliverables such as datasheets, calculations, material requisitions, technical bid evaluation, and recommendations.
- Prepare design documents (General Equipment list, Datasheets, General Arrangements, and Layouts)
- Review and understand design and construction drawings.
- Tender preparation including production of specifications, drawings, and commercial documentation
- Review vendor documentation and provide comments for fabrication and installation.
- Assist Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule
- Address site issues related to design
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- More than 5 years of experience, with building service design experience.
- Experience in Industrial projects such as microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors is an added advantage.
- Building servicing system – plumbing and sanitary, fire protection (sprinkler, hose reel, hydrant), HVAC systems
