Our accounting department plays a significant role in the Company providing full support services to our clients and as a vital team member, your role will be to provide a full range of fund accounting services including calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV), cash, and position reconciliation, review of corporate actions and validation of security pricing. Services to clients and investors must be conducted in compliance with the company’s service model and policies, liaising with investment managers, brokers, custodians, and auditors.
Required Skills
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Certified ACCA, CPA, ISCA or similar designation is a plus
• English required; Foreign language skill is a plus
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English Language.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and experience in preparing complete financial statements and notes for auditors
• Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS
• Ability to function under heavy work demands, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Minimum 3 years of fund administration & accounting experience in real estate / private equity funds, Venture Capital, Hedge, or related audit experience
Primary Duties and Functions
• Review offering memorandum to become acquainted with Fund particulars, e.g. early redemptions, minimum subscriptions, and the like
• Record and ensure completeness of trades
• Record cash transactions, trades settlements, and other investment transactions
• Preparation and completion of Net Asset Value File; including completion of Net Asset Value Checklist
• Preparation of spreadsheets/ reports for audit purposes
• Preparing draft audit reports and reconciliation to accounting records
• Communicate with the investment manager, brokers as regards investment details, expense issues, etc.
• Ensure completed NAV signed off by Management is sent to and reviewed by the investment manager
• Ensure all documents as necessary are saved to the final accounting file and properly stored
• Follow up pending items and bring the same to the attention of management
• Ensure certified accounting license is maintained and CPE hours are done
• Supporting the company’s anti-money laundering (AML) framework in place globally and working closely with the team to ensure compliance with the AML framework
• Training will be provided
