Operations Executive

Job Description:


· Manage day to day business operations mainly focusing on client services related matters.

· Ensure that all processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies

· Liaise with third party service providers to aid in any matters relating to business operations - compliance team, corporate secretary, etc.

· Liaising with external partners such as private banks, financial institution in matters pertaining to clients’ trades, account maintenance, and any matter related to clients’ services

· Undertaking ad hoc duties as directed by the directors (research and monitoring trends and direction of market, etc.)

· Assist and liaise with parties relating to VCC structuring & incorporating matters including any operational duties for the VCC structured under the company's management.

· Act as a liaison between clients, business partners and internal stakeholders.

· Assist in account opening documentations and other account servicing related request

· Ensure timely service delivery

· Handle day-to-day operation issues; ensuring issues are resolved in a proper and timely manner

· Assist in the documentation of processes/procedures

· Any other ad hoc duties which may include but not limited to assisting with client advisers’ queries when they arise


Job Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will be someone who:


· Is driven, tenacious and possess a strong sense of work ethics

· Has strong analytical and interpersonal skills

· Is good team player who can work independently and diligently

· Is meticulous and enjoy working with data

· Proficient in English language - able to draft letters and email

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

· Positive ‘Can do attitude and willing to give everything a go’

· Good communication skills

· Good punctuality and time management skills

· Flexible and supportive

· Experience with working in a start-up environment will be an added advantage

· Has at least a degree in any discipline

· Minimum 2 years of experience at Asset Management firms, Private Wealth Management firms or other relevant Financial Institutions, and background in client service.

· Knowledge of the Asset Management business

· Experience in account opening, client onboarding, operational support, issues management, understanding of compliance and regulatory complexities in Asset Management business.
