As a Strategy and Data Analyst at X Star Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to (1) support Head of Product for new commercial strategy development, and new product design and execution, and to (2) analyze data, derive insights, and develop data-driven solutions to support strategic decision-making. Collaboration with stakeholders ensures alignment with organizational goals, while staying updated with industry trends fosters innovation in analytics practices.
Job scope:
Product and strategy:
- Work directly with regional management team and Head of Product to (1) develop commercial strategy with timely analysis, and (2) to support new product launching and decision-making.
- Drive new products or new operation initiatives end-to-end from conceptualization (including market research and profitability analysis) to execution (project planning, go to market, tracking and monitoring project performance, progress, profitability and ROI).
Data Analysis:
- Monitoring loan portfolio key matrics and performance, by using analytical tools
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools, e.g. Power BI and Tableau
- Customize dashboards to meet the specific requirements of different business units and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that align with company's goals and objectives. (e.g. Expansion planning, budgeting, optimization of marketing, operations and sales strategy)
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field;
- Min 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role
- Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying relational databases
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and manipulation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work across diverse teams
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business requirements
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data modelling, and data mining techniques
