Key Responsibilities:
- On-site commissioning and optimising electrical systems onboard vessels, ensuring proper installation and functionality of distribution equipment and cabinet electronics.
- Conduct training and orientation of equipment operation and maintenance with the onboard crew to ensure productive and smooth operations after commissioning.
- Travel for on-site commissioning and return to the office for detailed analysis and optimization.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Electrical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in electrical installations, troubleshooting, automation faultfinding, interpreting electrical drawings, and understanding signal systems and cabinet electronics are necessary.
- Professional certification/qualification reflecting competency in the above skills is highly recommended. Marine ETO or equivalent is preferred.
- Marine Sector Experience: Prior experience working in the marine, offshore, or industrial automation sector is highly valued.
- Social Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to manage and work effectively with the onboard crew.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
