Summary
- In charge of daily Logistic inbound / outbound related coordination activities.
- Monitor outbound shipment schedule to customers, prepare necessary shipping documents, coordinate with drivers / freight forwards to ensure on time delivery to customers.
- Buyoff supplier inbound shipments. Verify items, quantity and good condition before acceptance and sign off suppliers’ documents.
- Handle other Logistic related system transactions for internal activities (i.e. FG / RM transactions).
Responsibilities
- Back up Logistics Specialist for Logistics activities if needed.
- Verify shipments quantity during buy-off with forwarders (cargoes tally job)
- Maintain daily transaction document filings for traceability / audit purposes.
- Ensure timely system update, transaction integrity and accuracies are maintained at all times.
- Follow-up with forwarders/couriers for shipment clearance/queries/verification/errors/other related matters.
- Work with IQC on suppliers’ inbound shipment buyoff to store.
- Maintain 5S and workplace safety by abiding to safety rules, report to superior for any risk / potential risk on warehouse / safety issues. for any risk / potential risk on warehouse / safety issues.
- Carry out other assign tasks by superior from time to time.
Requirements
- Min O level or equivalent qualifications
- Min 2 years' experience in shipping or logistics related industries
- Proficient in Microsoft office, Oracle knowledge is added advantage.
- Familiar with incoterms and forwarder coordination
