Job Responsibilities:
· Manage the full spectrum of client’s accounting and any group reporting (i.e. manage own portfolio of outsourcing clients, visiting client’s office and handling client’s questions).
· Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing activities, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation for client accounts.
· Prepare regular payments, billings and employee payroll for clients.
· Liaise with internal and external parties on billings, payments and reconciliations for clients.
· Liaise with auditors on behalf of clients.
· Prepare Corporate tax computation and GST return (only applies to some clients).
· Ensure proper and accuracy of accounting records & filing and other general duties.
· Any ad-hoc tasks given by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant, or equivalent, with a Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, ISCA, ACCA, CPA or other relevant professional qualifications.
· Previous work experiences (in Audit or Business Outsourcing) in a Singapore CPA firm would be an added advantage.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (Preferably QuickBooks Online (QBO) , Sage 300 Accpac and XERO) and Times Payroll Software will be an added advantage.
· Knowledge of International/Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/SFRS) and local Corporate tax and GST rules
· Good written and oral communication skills in English.
· Meticulous, attentive to detail and possess problem solving skills.
· Able to work in a team and/or independently to meet deadlines.
· Positive personality with strong drive.
· Able to travel to client's place
