WINTEL ENGINEER [END-USER ORGANIZATION (PUBLIC/ GOVERNMENT)]

- Company: International IT Service Provider MNC [Actual work location (most likely assigned to work there permanently) will be at one of the Government clients]
- Working Location: Government related organization (Providing internal support) [within Central Zones of Singapore]
- Working Schedule: Monday – Friday (9 AM – 6 PM)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Main responsibilities include planning, installation/ implementation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, & maintenance/ upgrading of Endpoint Hardware & Images [i.e.: Operating Systems (OS), Windows Servers, PowerShell, Group Policy Objects, Software/ Applications, Drivers, Hotfixes, Patch Management, PC Imaging, Actie Directory, Workplace Management Tools & Systems (e.g.: SCCM, Citrix VDI, Nexthink, HC BigFix, etc.)]
- Designing, deploying/ implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance/ management of Infrastructure and services (AWS or Azure, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, SQL Databases, App Services, etc.) ensuring the security, scalability, and high availability of the applications
- Collaborate with the development teams to architect & deploy the cloud-native applications
- Implementing and maintaining of automation & infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using popular tools (e.g.: Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Planning and streamline of daily operational & automation processes
- Performing Quality Assurance Testing Processes (for changes in endpoint devise)
- Updating, and maintaining relevant documentations & reports
- Other relevant duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced (4 – 5 years, minimum) of relevant working experiences as a Wintel Engineer (or other relatable roles)
- Proficient in PC Imaging Deployment, Patch Management, Software Distribution (for desktop & server devices)
- In-depth knowledge in AWS/ Azure Architectures & Services.
- Knowledgeable in Networking Concepts & Best Security Practices (for AWS/ Azure)
- Advantageous to have, but not a must have: Scripting experiences in Python, Shell, etc.
- [Comfortable and available to be on standby: up to 2 weeks/ month (including weekends and Public Holidays)]
