The position requires the Business Development Manager to oversee all operations, with a focus on business advisory and consultancy for our wine trading activities. This includes organizing marketing initiatives, facilitating communication between buyers and sellers, coordinating payments and wine withdrawals, and managing logistics and storage arrangements.

- Formulate and execute sales strategies to attain company revenue objectives.
- Explore and actively engage in new business opportunities and collaborations.
- Identify customer requisites and scrutinize industry and market trends to construct a sales pipeline aimed at achieving sales targets and overarching business objectives.
- Foster enduring, robust, and reliable relationships with stakeholders such as customers, ocean/air carriers, business partners, and agents.
- Oversee the sales and service response process encompassing comprehensive quotations, RFQ requirements, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, and managing service recovery for both complaints and compliments.
- Promptly, professionally, and precisely respond to all customer inquiries relating to quotations, complaints, service discrepancies, etc.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the International Wine Industry.
- Demonstrated track record of sales success.
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in using presentation software and tools.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, achieve sales targets, and uphold a positive attitude while delivering outstanding customer service in business-to-business sales and negotiations.
