Operations cum Fund Manager
Responsibilities:
· Streamline workflow and introduce automation process to cope with changing needs of the market and regulatory requirements
· Provide full operational support to various business lines (guides will be provided)
· Carry out all checking and reconciliation of Net Asset Valuations performed by external service providers for discretionary accounts and funds.
· Trade processing and settlements, cash & stock reconciliations.
· Liaise with fund administrators, brokers, custodians, auditors, product managers, legal counsels and finance and other service providers for the handling of various operations tasks, resolved operations issues, account opening and year-end audit.
. Manage multi-asset portfolios comprised of fixed income, equity and structured products
. Partner with clients and sales team to design, construct and manage portfolios
. Perform daily fund management tasks, including implementing multiple investment strategies, handling client flows, re-balancing, and attribution analysis
. Ensure all mandates conform to performance expectations, investment guidelines, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements
. Provide market colour and portfolio insights to senior management and team
. Interface with analytics, risk, data and other platform teams to drive process improvements and contribute to overall systems, investment and trading process enhancements
. Any other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
· Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply.
· No experience is required. However, 1-2 years’ of experience in fund operation, accounting, custody and fund administration of RQFII, private funds and bonds preferably in financial industry and/or fund house would be an advantage.
. Experience in credit investing in an asset/fund management or investment bank trading floor environment and direct portfolio management and/or trading experience in a range of multi asset instruments, such as ETFs and other funds, derivatives, FX, rates, equities would be an additional advantage
· Possess a high level of accuracy, sensitivity to data and ability to pay close attention to detail is essential.
· Independent and a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Capacity to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment, able to drive changes proactively and work under pressure.
· Good communication skills coupled with a strong command of the English and Chinese language to work with counterparts in China.
