We will make arrangements for Opticians with provisional registration to do attachments at optical shops to meet registration requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical eye tests including refraction, visual acuity, fundus photography, OCT macular/ disc, perimetry, biometry, corneal topography, endothelial cell count, fundus fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography.
- Prepare for laser and operation in the clinic and hospital.
- Register, dispense patients and answer queries.
- File claims and prepare memos.
- Sanitisation and simple housekeeping duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Opticianry
- No clinical experience required. On the job training will be provided.
- Good team player with caring personality.
- Good interpersonal skills. Communicate well with both adults and kids.
