Job Title: Cloud Developer

Job Type: Contract 12 months
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Cloud Developer with relevant certifications and a solid background in cloud development, automated testing, and modern software development methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud environments and experience in delivering scalable, high-performance, and secure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement and optimize automated software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, TDD, and BDD.
- Create and manage packaging/build scripts with tools like Maven, Docker, etc., tailored for cloud environments.
- Utilize application tracing or observability tools such as OpenTelemetry to monitor cloud application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues, including resource management and application stack traces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud solutions that meet high availability, high-performance, and security standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in cloud development processes.
- Demonstrable skills in Java, Dot Net, Javascript, Typescript, Python or Cloud development
Qualifications:
- Relevant cloud development certifications, e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or equivalent.
- Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst or an equivalent certification is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in cloud development using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of automated software testing, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, TDD, and BDD.
- Familiarity with application tracing or observability tools like OpenTelemetry.
- Experience in creating packaging/build scripts with Maven, Docker, etc., for cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues, including resource management and application stack traces.
- Experience in implementing systems with high availability, high performance, and high security, hosted in cloud environments or hybrid cloud setups.
