Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our New2U Thrift Shop team. Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics & Warehouse Management: Assist with the organisation and management of our warehouse, ensuring that donations are sorted, processed, and displayed efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Help maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking incoming donations and outgoing sales.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, sharing the stories behind our products, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Event Support: Participate in the planning and execution of special events and sales, including pop-up shops and community outreach programs.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Contribute to our sustainability initiatives by finding innovative ways to reduce waste and promote eco-friendly practices.
