SUMMARY
You will be providing a wide range of support activities to the HR team. You will act as a liaison between HR and employee, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and enquiries. You will also be involved in developing policies, processes and procedures. To be a successful HR Assistant, you should display positive mindset and can-do attitude.
This maternity cover position will be from Aug 2024 - Jan 2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work Pass application, renewal and cancellation, preparation for onboarding new hires etc.
- Assist in all hiring matters, training programs
- Administrator for HRIS and internal portal
- Attend to employee’s HR related requests
- Organize and participate in career fairs
- Coordinate onboarding process and conduct orientation
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Other HR administrative tasks/projects as and when assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES
- Good understanding of Employment Law and practices, preferably IHRP-CP certified
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
- Ability to strive in a fast paced and results-oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business disciplines
- Able to work independently by establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situation and documentations
- Motivational with a positive attitude at all times
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational and time-management skills
