Dulwich College (Singapore) is seeking an outstanding Admissions professional to lead our high-performing team in delivering an exceptional ‘Dulwich Experience’ to our families.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Admissions, preferably within an educational setting, and will bring outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to excellence in customer service.
The core duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring consistency in policy implementation and guarantee all admission policies are in compliance with Dulwich College standards, international school norms, and Singapore Government regulations.
- Liaising with the Marketing team on the promotion of the College.
- Collaborating closely with academic staff in relation to all admissions related activities.
- Collecting and analysing data to inform on market forces, trends, and competition.
- Managing a team of Admissions professionals and ensuring the highest standards of performance and behaviour are embedded in the team.
- Conducting seminars, open houses and other initiatives to promote the College.
- Attending community events on the College’s behalf.
- Developing and maintaining professional networking relationships with Admissions Departments in other international schools in the region.
- Developing annual student recruitment plans and assisting in the prediction of student enrolment.
- Greeting prospective applicants and providing school tours and information.
- Overseeing the re-enrolment process including leavers, possible leavers and student contracts.
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new starters including orientation days, and class and house allocations.
- Overseeing all admissions testing and facilitating the analysis of results.
- Conducting prior learning evaluation and transcript review for all new students.
- Administering any relevant student scholarships and grants.
- Demonstrating outstanding personal leadership which encourages team members to provide friendly, helpful and timely support to new applicants and existing students.
- Conducting regular audits and reviews of Admissions policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent implementation.
- Conduct market analysis of international school competitors and carry out benchmarking exercises.
- Ensuring student records are accurate in a defined and documented manner to internal and external stakeholders as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in an education-related organisation.
- Knowledge and experience of the international school market in Singapore (essential).
- Experience and confidence in delivering presentations to groups of stakeholders.
- Experience of supervising the work of others and managing a team to meet departmental and organisational goals.
- Experience of analysing data and collating results in an appropriate format for the relevant audience.
- Experience of working across an organisation and working collaboratively with relevant departments.
- Experience of working with children and young people.
- Experience in a customer facing role and understanding of the internationally-mobile family and student.
