Role Description
- Deputy to senior COO based in Singapore for Business Integrity and Coverage areas
- Act as the primary point of contact for Coverage areas to support various front office requests
- Responsible for timely action on topics impacting Coverage (RMs) including audit and regulatory topics

Your key responsibilities
- This role is deputy to senior Business COO and responsible for providing support to all front office teams in APAC which aide in serving the end Wealth clients
- Review and approve exceptions for BAU by evaluating the risks in the GAPS against KOP’s. Approximately 7500 exceptions per annum.
- Review and approve 3rd Party Payment requests and trade processing in a timely manner
- The role also requires engagement with Group Audit, Internal and external regulators on various aspects that affect the business
- Support various Remediation programs including understanding of underlying regulations / internal audit that drive the need for remediation
- Prepare various materials as required for Business / Market head meetings
- Other activities requiring administration and support to COO in the region
- Attend relevant Trainings to ensure good understanding of the subject and be abreast of any updates.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner (non-responsive stakeholders resulting in delays or overdue tasks, any matter that requires Supervisor attention & intervention etc).
Your skills and experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Private Banking / Wealth Management support function required.
- Strong understanding of Wealth Management products and services and regulatory environment.
- Solid experience in AML
- A Post-graduate/Graduate degree in Finance, Business
- Proven ability to handle unstructured work, and support international senior stakeholders with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Positive, can-do attitude, proactive self-starter.
- High degree of professionalism, ownership and accountability.
- Experienced in using the following tools – Avaloq, RDC or any tool to screen clients for adverse media
- Certification in AML/CFTC (CAMS) and Risk Management
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
