• Full time shifts: 7am - 3pm or 9am - 5pm
• Part time hours are possible - please apply to discuss
• Occasional Saturday work if required, you will be compensated accordingly
• Staff meal and uniform polo shirt provided

This role is operational from August - June. During the international school summer holiday, you may optionally choose to work shifts at another Victus outlet depending on business needs, or may take unpaid leave for 1-6 weeks on top of your annual leave allowance.

Description

You will join our front-of-house team, ensuring our international school partner’s students, staff and parents are served promptly and with great customer service.

You will work together with your teammates to set up attractive counter displays, and clean at the end of every day’s service.

Key Tasks

1. Operate the easy-to-use POS system (no cash handling is required; all students have their own payment card)
2. Clean/sanitise work stations, ensuring that utensils and serving ware are cleaned/ sanitised and ready for use
3. Ensure that stock is replenished where required (e.g. drinks, snacks)
4. Assist with basic food preparation and packaging where required
5. Assist with event service where required on the school campus, for example meeting room snacks, or event buffets.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous experience in catering, quick service or cafeteria operations
• Customer Service experience, and good spoken English and/or Mandarin
• WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1 or equivalent
• Attentive, meticulous and problem solving
• Teamwork and Interpersonal Skill; communicates easily/ openly with integrity
• Multicultural awareness and able to work and thrive within a culturally diverse environment

Advantageous

• Awareness of basic Food Allergens (Dairy, Egg, Gluten)
• Awareness of Workplace Safety and Health for Food and Beverage Operations
