Deutsche Bank’s Investment Bank encompasses a leading financing business covering debt capital markets, structured finance, asset backed securities and commercial real estate; alongside a global fixed income offering with a leading FX platform with focused rates and flow credit capabilities to support our global corporate and institutional clients.
The Global Financing & Credit Trading Business Finance team in Singapore supports both the Financing business and Credit Trading (which incorporates both Flow and Credit Solutions) across APAC.

Your key responsibilities:
The role will be across the product control and financial control space, with oversight of the P&L as well as month end financial reporting. The team work closely with the broader Business Finance team in Manila who are responsible for the daily P&L production and primary financial controls. Additionally, the team has responsibility for more “business finance” type activities, such as RWA and forecasting / planning.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversight of the P&L ensuring it is properly explained/substantiated.
- Ensure that key controls are properly and fully implemented – monitoring exception ageing and help drive remediation.
- Key contact and escalation point for both bookrunner and Front-Office.
- Produce aggregated monthly / quarterly commentary and for business or specific entities ie. Singapore / HK.
- Work closely with Traders, Market Risk Management, Middle Office and Accounting Policy to resolve Risk, P&L and accounting issues, particularly around new trades.
- Oversight and review of quarterly financial disclosures.
- Respond to ad hoc queries and requests from senior mgmt, auditors and regulators.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an investment bank performing a product control or a financial control position, with some experience covering Credit Trading or Financing.
- Proven experience and understanding of financial products such as bonds, loans OR derivatives
- Working experience in financial markets in a commercial bank or knowledge of relevant IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience facing off to the Front Office and other relevant stakeholders; including auditors and regulators
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical skills and thorough, whilst being able to communicate complex information to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Good team player and possess good Inter-personal skills with ability to articulate and partner with stakeholders.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
