Your key responsibilities
- Be a junior portfolio manager in the Asia Fixed Income DPM team investing in global credits
- Prepare and execute trades
- Monitor the creditworthiness and financial performance of companies in the portfolio
- Perform primary and secondary credit research on global issuers
- Ensure investments meet client objectives and restrictions and avoid breaches by addressing them in a proactive manner
- Talk to clients with the relationship managers and senior portfolio managers
- Act as liaison person for relationship managers and operational staff for all DPM fixed income enquiries and internal procedures
- Support product specialists with information for marketing materials
- Risk analytics and daily monitoring reports/periodic controls reports
- Manage cash positions in portfolios
Your skills and experience
- Degree in Business, Economics or Finance-related field
- 1 to 4 years of fixed income market experience, either as a portfolio manager or portfolio analyst or credit analyst
- Candidates without fixed income experience will have to start as a portfolio analyst
- Conversational Mandarin to manage North Asia clients
- Abreast with current investment trends and knowledgeable over global macroeconomic themes
- Ability to work well with others and build solid relationships
- Team player with positive work attitude and sound ethics; flexible and proactive work-style; competent at resolving issues independently
- Candidates with existing portfolio management licensing from MAS
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
