Responsibilities
Overseeing the laundry process, drawing up a delivery schedule.
Ensure efficiency & performance are met or exceeded.
Track competencies of subordinates & provide leadership & development as required to achieve objectives.
Evaluating existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
Ensuring processes, equipment, comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed
Study process and machine requirements
Organize and manage workflows and resources
Develop & track improvement in reduction of planned OT hours.
Coordinate set up & implement standard operating procedure for all operations.
Requirements
Possess at least Degree in Engineering or related field of Manufacturing
Minimum 8 years of manufacturing supervision skills preferred with high level of technical expertise and knowledge of manufacturing processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Effective problem identification and solution skills,
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organization and management skills.
Strong analytical thinker, proactive and flexibility in their approach to work
Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations
Excellent communication skills to build key relationships with your team and other department
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
