Job Summary
The Operations & Programme Manager reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for leading a team of professionals to ensure smooth operations and successful execution of programs and projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role involves building strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders while effectively communicating the charity’s mission and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to enhance processes, operations, systems, and risk management by incorporating technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage system administration and maintenance, collaborating with vendors for IT support and system enhancements to meet operational needs.
- Plan and lead the development of community programs and initiatives, working with partners to identify and address community needs and service gaps.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to spearhead fundraising initiatives, including donor management and engagement.
- Identify potential grants and oversee the end-to-end process from application through project completion, and reporting.
- Oversee the planning and execution of the organization's communications strategy, including website maintenance, collateral production, social media management, and branding efforts.
- Manage volunteer engagement and activities, ensuring meaningful participation and contributions.
- Oversee projects by coordinating with internal and external partners and service providers as needed.
