- 7-10 years of experience in Accounting / Financial Reporting roles, preferably with prior experience in a technical accounting role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS is mandatory. Strong IFRS knowledge on share-based remuneration and revenue recognition will be required.
- Open to cands strong on technical accounting from Big 4 audit firms or MNCs.
Our client is a growing company in the e commerce sector. The co is based in Shenton Way (the employees work 100% from office).
This role is part of the finance team and will perform the following:
- Prepare technical papers on complex accounting issues
- Liaise with external stakeholders on key accounting assessments
- Prepare Group accounting policies and SOPs and align accounting policies across different entities
- Manage discussion on key accounting issues with external auditors
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures
- In charge of certain accounting operations such as fair value measurement, share-based compensation calculation, or impairment assessment
- Communicate complicated accounting issues in a way that a non-accounting audience can easily understand
- Conduct training sessions to finance teams on accounting concepts
Requirements
What You Will Need
- Degree level qualification in Accounting
- CPA/CA or other equivalent qualification
- 7-10 years of experience in Accounting / Financial Reporting roles, preferably with prior experience in a technical accounting role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS is mandatory. Strong IFRS knowledge on share based remuneration and revenue recognition will be required.
- Open to cands strong on technical accounting from Big 4 audit firms or MNCs.
- Passionate about accounting concepts and their applications
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority and work independently with high attention to detail
- Added ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus (as this role will work with colleagues based in Indonesia), but this is not necessary
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
