Job duties & responsibilities:
- Removing scales and unwanted parts with a knife
- Cutting, cleaning, and trimming fishes
- Cutting, filleting and separating filets
- Preparing and operating machines for slicing of fish fillets
- Ensuring quality assurance by checking and packaging
- Perform labelling duties weight, quantity, date, and product name
- Ensuring of the kitchen’s cleanliness and hygiene standards are always maintained.
- Perform daily cleaning of the production kitchen
Job Requirements:
- Good knife skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of different fish species and their handling techniques is a plus.
- Experience in working in fish, seafood or food production or in an industrial kitchen
- Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production
- Team player
