Responsibilities:
(A) Key Account Management & Trade Execution:
- Act as central point for coordinating business activities with the group's overseas partners
- Managing high-level relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Plan, negotiate, and execute trade deals.
- Coordinate with Fulfillment and Trade Operations teams for deal execution.
- Prepare deal economics for deal sheet submissions and price proposals for approval and subsequent tender submission.
- Identifying market sentiments and major market drivers.
(B) Product Evaluation:
- Evaluate new products and identify potential application uses based on technical specifications
- Evaluate fair market value of different products based on market conditions and different applications to determine pricing strategies for different applications.
- Supplier evaluation based on pricing strategies.
(C) Business Development:
- Implementing the overall trading and business development strategy.
- Support business development activities, pricing and new market opportunities through product and pricing evaluation.
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in trading commodities, preferably in petrochemicals.
- Has a proven track record in trading strategies, proactive and is keen to details.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with good command of English.
- A good team player and can work with minimum supervision.
