Job description
- Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results and/or research findings.
- Perform wet bench experiments in the laboratory, including molecular biology, CRISPR screening, biochemistry, drug screening, microscopy and next generation sequencing
- Perform animal experimentation including mice experimental models, mice health monitoring, drug dosing
- Maintain and upkeep biobank of tissues, cell lines and other biological materials
- Assist researchers in data analysis and literature review in various research projects.
- Contribute to project management, presentations, manuscript preparation & submission for publications.
- Assist with general upkeep of laboratory needs, provide technical support and establish work procedures to ongoing research projects and maintaining good safety record for lab audits.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.
Relevant Experience
- An aptitude for research and at least 1 years of relevant work experience. Experience in molecular biology work and animal experimentation will be advantageous.
- Candidates with working knowledge in cancer will be desirable.
- Possess strong interpersonal communications skills with excellent written, oral communication and computer skills.
- A strong team player who is mature, open-minded, energetic, highly motivated and can work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and diverse workforce.
Education Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree in Biomedical/ Biological Sciences
