Main Duties:
- Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor tunnel works.
- Oversee Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) works at site.
- Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work program
- Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
- Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
- Handling of technical and engineering problems
- Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to tunnel construction works, ensure progress according to schedule.
- Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
- Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
- Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safe and neat
- Coordination, supervision and monitoring of tunnel works
- TBM cutter head intervention and face inspection under compressed air
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Geology equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ of relevant experience in civil underground tunnel works
- Experience with Tunnel Geology is advantageous.
- Preferred to have extensive experience in operation & maintenance of TBM guidance system and data acquisition system (ENZAN)
- Experience in managing D/wall and Borepiling and Tunneling Projects
- Able to commit to at least 5.5D work week and long working hours to meet tight project deadlines
