1. Job description
- Implementation of effective safety management system, preventive measures as well as risk assessment to minimize accidents at the assigned workplace/site
- Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives
- Compile all safety record and reports, and ensure proper documentation of site records for all safety related matters
- Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Ensure strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises
- Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
- Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes
- Inspection of site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance are in proper working condition and do not pose any hazard
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
2. Requirement
- Safety related diploma or equivalent
- Registered as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for at least 1 years. Candidates with ECO & ECMO license will have an added advantage.
- Mandatory to have least 1 years’ experience as WSHO
- Experienced in ISO related documentation and audits
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
