This internship is to work with our Fund Investment Team with a focus on maritime and supply chain ventures. The team's goal is to back and nurture creative companies that come up within this sector by offering them the necessary resources as well as direction for their success.
We require a Marketing Intern who is resourceful and driven. We are a lean team, so the right person should be self-directed and prepared to engage from day one. You are independent and will receive a lot of autonomy and responsibility, including in creating marketing content & content to drive interest in maritime-tech companies and related investments.
As a part of the team, you will gain knowledge in the maritime industry as you get involved in different marketing tasks that focus on promoting our company as well as portfolio maritime-tech companies that impact the maritime industry.
Responsibilities:
· Research on and develop an understanding of the maritime tech ecosystem
· Assist in conceptualising, developing and executing marketing campaigns
· Support in updating and refreshing our digital presence
· Execute the venture capital and portfolio maritime-tech companies’ digital campaigns
· Create scripts, and plan content to feature our network, ideas leadership, and added value
· Participate in crafting weekly newsletters that showcase our expertise and thought leadership in maritime and investments
· Engage with maritime stakeholders, network, and maintain our brand presence on Social Media Platforms
Requirements:
· Naturally creative and resourceful to figure problems out
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Familiarity with digital tools such as Adobe Suite or Audacity would be beneficial
· Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
