- Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to compile and submit budgets and forecasts for the Asia Pacific region, as well as monthly performance reports.
- Analyze sales, costs, and capital efficiency metrics such as Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), including optimal inventory and fixed asset levels. Identify variances and issues, report findings to supervisors and management, and drive necessary improvements.
- Oversee the financial management of the Singapore company and its Southeast Asian subsidiaries under the holding company.
- Calculate investment values using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
- Conduct cash flow planning.
- Manage and train subordinate staff.
- Handle external inquiries from auditors, banks, and other entities.
- Oversee transfer pricing arrangements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in accounting or finance role.
- Familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) is advantageous.
- Vessels accounting knowledge will be added advantage
- Proficiency in management accounting principles and practices.
