Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee · Organisation's strategic priorities and overall business objectives in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are finished on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Review and refine organisational strategies and targets for endorsement, ensuring they contribute to the achievement of the company's vision, mission, goals, and objectives
- Build a culture of innovation within the organisation, encouraging continuous improvement across all departments.
- Evaluate recommendations for potential business opportunities, partnerships, and expansions that align with the company’s growth strategy.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and regulatory authorities to support business development and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate the organisation's financial performance, ensuring that it meets or exceeds the financial goals set by the board.
- Oversee budget allocation and financial planning to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Oversee management policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and best practices
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists, clients to ensure project feasibility and to resolve any potential design or implementation issues.
- Manages construction activities and its progress coordinating the order and delivery of materials to job sites
- Tracking company resource usage and Identifying project risks and proposing solutions
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Provide strategic direction, support, while overseeing and resolving employee relations issues
- Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, billing, and the procurement of materials and labour.
- Develop and implement innovative construction techniques and strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Construction or a related field or equivalent.
- Extensive experience (typically 20+ years) in the suspended scaffold and scaffolding operations.
- Deep understanding of the Construction industry, including Engineering, precast and industry best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, industry partners, and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
