Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for equipment, parts and other inventory matters for Guinea entity
• Coordinate with procurement department on new part purchases, ensuring completeness and accuracy in purchases imported to Guinea
• Manage all record keeping for movement of inventory that are used in the operations
• Timely update of all inventory movement in Autocount
• Perform monthly book closures and prepare inventory reports for both accounting purposes and use by the operations team
• Responsible to plan and coordinate bi-annual stocktake with local Guinea counterparts to ensure accountability of inventory
• Identify areas of weaknesses in the inventory management process and find solutions to rectify or improve
• Monitor trends in major inventory usage and inventory levels, visualize the data, and report findings to management
• Prepare proper filing and documentation of all inventories related matters
• Uphold the image of the company through high quality and professional interactions with both internal stakeholders and external counterparts
• Other ad-hoc projects and duties as per assigned
Requirements:
· Knowledgeable in inventory management processes and workflows
· Practical, hands on experience with inventory management systems
· Independent and highly responsible individual who requires minimal supervision
· Task focused and deadline oriented
· Keen eye with an attention to details
· Proficient in communication and reading in Chinese to communicate with China Chinese stakeholders
